Can I adjust the spring tension myself?
No. Torsion spring adjustment requires proper winding bars and technique; it is the highest-risk task on a garage door.
Why does the door leave a gap at one side?
Either the door is not level in the opening, the track spacing differs side to side, or the slab is uneven. Adjustment corrects the first two; a threshold seal handles the third.
Is adjustment included with other repairs?
