FAQ
Garage Door Track Repair questions
Can a bent track be repaired or does it need replacing?
Light bends in otherwise sound track can often be straightened. Kinked, crushed or corroded sections are replaced, because a compromised track will keep damaging rollers.
My door came off the track — can I put it back myself?
We do not recommend it. A derailed door is usually still under spring tension and can drop or bind badly. Leave it and call for service.
Why is my door suddenly noisy?
Worn rollers and dry hinges are the usual cause, and misaligned track is next. All three are addressed during a track and hardware service.
