Belt drive or chain drive?
Belt drives are noticeably quieter and are the better choice when there is a bedroom or living space next to or above the garage. Chain drives cost less and last well in detached or unfinished garages.
What about a wall-mount opener?
Wall-mount units are excellent for low-headroom garages, high doors, and when you want the ceiling clear for storage. They also keep the motor away from the door's centre.
Can I keep my old remotes?
